It was only when I attempted writing fiction that I realized I do waaaaaay too much "telling" and not enough "showing"! For some writers, that immersive experience seems so effortless!
I agree! And maybe it's because you and I are copywriters that we struggle so much with slowing down the prose -- we're more practiced at getting the reader excited, and less practiced at absorbing them. 😉
